This site was designed by Dan Rosenberger, Broker-Owner of Harvest Realty.  Special thanks to David Mercer and his patience with all of my questions during his class at Ivy Tech State College offered in Carmel, Indiana.

Most agents hire somebody else to do their websites.  The vast majority of sites are template sites, where an agent's site is essentially the same as fifty or more sites around the country. A much smaller number are custom-designed sites.

I decided that if I want to make a change, or correct an error, it was best to know enough about the software to be able to do it quickly.  It allows me to offer service to my clients that does not depend on a web designer fitting me into his or her schedule.

Software used in this site includes Microsoft FrontPage 2000 (for overall web design), Microsoft PhotoEditor, JASC Paint Shop Pro, and Macromedia Fireworks 3.0.  On the start page when your mouse hovers over one of the buttons on top, a description is displayed immediately below.  This is known as a disjoint rollover, and this was done in Fireworks.

While much of the content for this site is original, some of the content (such as information about properties available for sale) comes from other sources.  The MLS search (as easy as MLS-YES: www.MLS-YES.com/ - REMEMBER THAT) is made available with the cooperation of other brokers and sellers who have consented to have their listings displayed under a program called Internet Data Exchange.
